We promised more from Barcelona Bridal Week and that could only be our favourite Spanish design Yolan Cris, who are celebrating 10years in bridal haute couture. Still stunning us with their innovative design and fulfilling your bridal dreams.
The Yolan Cris bridal collection for Spring 2016 is a tale of two parts – ‘Orchid’ the haute couture line and ‘Boho Folk’ the Pret-a-Couture line. The Orchid pieces are extraordinarily beautiful and unusual, just like the flower it is named after.
And ‘Boho Folk’ is much more in keeping with the 2016 fashion trends for casual but contemporary designs. In their own words this side of the collection “is where each design emanates freedom, but in a more mature, calm and natural way.”
Here you’ll note that iconic and timeless style of the 70s bohemian yet interpreted by Yolan Cris with a contemporary silhouette.
And a big 2016 trend present on the Barcelona Bridal Week catwalk, baring one’s mid riff.
But the hero wedding dresses for me were the high-low, dipped hem numbers.
Sisters Yolanda and Cristina Perez created their first wedding dress in May 2005 and, as you can see, are still dedicated to innovation and breaking out of the established bridal trends. Don’t stop now ladies!
