Victoria Kyriakides, may not be a name you’re familiar with but that will soon change. The international designer who works in London, Athens and New York is finding fame within the wedding world for her minimalist luxury styles. The latest collection spied at New York Bridal week was inspired by the art and ambience of cinematic classics and the body in motion.
The flowing silk chiffon set against crochet hand embroidered lace in the Cavo Paradisco wedding dress is my favourite of the collection. The clever lace layout on top of a nude bodice is feminine and subtly sexy.
The new line consists of a stunning handful of gowns each with their own story, for Bunches of Love we’re taken back to the 1930’s Jazz era.
Victoria’s philosophy is attention to detail and that is witnessed best on the back of Bunches of Love, the trailing asymmetric embellishment is breathtaking.
Crochet hand embroidered lace is the linking element of this collection and this low backed gown is not only bridal but also red carpet worthy.
Victoria is trying to hit an equilibrium between simplicity and elegance in her fashions.
