THURSDAY THREADS – TWIGS AND HONEY

I’m afraid I’m not taking to winter all that well and for the past couple of days have been decidedly underdressed, I’m sure a cold is just around the corner.  So to get me out of this funk I need some eye candy and escapism, Twigs and Honey are just the ticket.  Designer Myra Callan burst onto the scene in 2008 with a desire to bring something fresh and modern to the world of hair accessories but has since branched out (sorry couldn’t resist).  Working out of Oregon, Myra ensures each Twigs and Honey piece is made to be loved, cherished and timeless.  The first time I ventured onto their site I couldn’t get off it, be prepared.  Are you ready for a Bijou trip into her world…

Wedding dresses are a new addition to the Twigs and Honey line up, although it is a capsule collection each design has an air of bohemia and essence of youth which I’m sure you girls will love.

They also make some spectacular Veils which I have fallen head over heels in love with. From long and traditional like this stunning lace trimmed number…

To quirky poufs of cloud like tulle…

To my personal fave, a one sided cap veil or as Twigs and Honey describe it ‘unicorn tail’

Sorry but it’s so dreamy that it warrants a second pic – note the scattered crystal beads.

One of my particular Twigs and Honey favourites is this Bridal cape.  The full wrap design in lace would suit a multitude of scenarios, evening bridal cover up, getting ready robe to protect your Wedding dress, future top paired with jeans or decadent bed jacket.

And of course if your fashion heart can stand it, I can’t leave out Myra’s hair adornments the things that started this whole magical company.  To be honest they are all pretty special but I’ve whittled it down to three Bijou loves.  Which is your favourite?
