I’m so excited to be sharing World renowned Canadian fashion stylist and creative director Elizabeth Cabral’s Tuscan wedding with you today. Be prepared to be wowed.
Elizabeth married long time best friend Kevin O’Neil in front of an intimate party of 24 of their closest friends and family at the Villa Vignmaggio in Tuscany.
Elizabeth designed this asymmetric, ruffled, mermaid wedding dress herself, with a fashion designer friend bringing her sketches to life.
With such a knock out dress Elizabeth opted for a loose bunch of roses as her bouquet, tied with ribbon in a matching nude shade to the dress. Similarly Elizabeth’s hair was tied in a loose top knot and make up was paired back.
But the jewellery certainly wasn’t subtle, oversized and jaw-dropping statement diamond earrings.
Elizabeth chose a long black evening gown for her bridesmaid sister with a slight ruffle that complimented her wedding dress perfectly.
You may dismiss black for destination weddings, but seriously how elegant does this look!
When it came to the groom’s attire there was only one thing in Kevin’s mind, the classic tuxedo. Simple, elegant and timeless but this quirky shirt added a fun twist on the classic.
Elizabeth wanted to work with the rustic style of the Villa and used lots of Lavender, Rosemary and church candles purchased locally to decorate the wedding breakfast table.
An abundance of simple paper lanterns added a soft glow as the sun set on their gorgeous Tuscan wedding day.
WORDS OF WISDOM
Elizabeth urges other brides to go with their gut, a destination wedding may mean some friends and family can’t join you but if it’s your dream… Just do it.
