I’ve saved the best until last Bijou brides, today’s style report is all about 2012’s most fashion forward bridal trend the transparent train.  Top designers such as Marchesa and Anne Bowen have been showcasing their take on the train trend providing a style for every type of bride – glamour to grecian.  This trend involves a close fitting wedding dress with a transparent chiffon or organza train added on top or just to the back.  The resulting ethereal feel is nothing short of magical, as I’m sure you’ll agree from the below selection of wedding dresses that show just how varied the look can be.

Golden Age of Hollywood feel from Anne Bowen

Reem Acre’s designs featuring flower applique and a range of train style’s from

classic to grecian

Marchesa used delicate oversized folds of fabric to create a bow like effect.
I love this Elizabeth Fillmore gem with it’s unexpected double skirt
I also wanted to share with my darling readers some exciting Bijou news – I am currently planning Hertfordshire’s (UK for those international glamour pusses) first Vintage Wedding Fair and I need your help.  If you have stumbled upon any fabulous vintage wedding vendors or DIY decorating ideas please do share?  And if you are in the UK, I very much hope to see you Saturday 2nd July.
