Sunday September 29 2013.

Whilst I’ve been away I missed my favourite fashion weeks London and Paris but fear not readers, I’ve been furiously catching up.  Focusing on the face trends today, here are the most bridalworthy Spring 2014 beauty looks for your inspiration.

At Julien Macdonald, Make Up artist Val Garland created her version of alien beauty with white out eyes, nude lips and clever contouring.  The key to getting the look according to Val Garland is “ethereal sheen and reflection”.

Dolce & Gabbana stuck to their romantic guns of seasons past with rosy cheeks and feline flick eyeliner.  Teamed with twisted up dos this is the most obviously bridalworthy of the bunch.

Topshop Unique took us on a sunkissed trip with one of my favourite Spring 2014 beauty looks.  Shimmering golden eyeshadow on top and smokey black underneath is a style I’ll be trying out this week.

Packing a punch the final pick of Spring 2014 beauty looks is this awesome bold lilac lip spotted at Prabal Gurung’s show.  Charlotte Tilbury  explained the look to Into The Gloss as  having “a whiff of the ’50s, but in a modern way.  The focus is all on the bright, matte lips.”  I love it.

As a final note it seemed virtually all the designer shows featured a liberal scoop of hair gel.  I’m not sure about the wet/dry hairstyle away from poolside myself but let me know if you’ve tried out.

Happy Sunday.
