I think this might be a first in the Wedding bloggersphere, a staggered reveal of the all new Oh My Honey bridal collection across four fab blogs over the course of this week. I’m rather chuffed that Bijou is one of the them, so if you are new to Bijou – welcome waves.
If you aren’t familiar with Oh My Honey it is the label of Brighton based designer Louise O’Mahoney who started making burlesque costumes and bridal wear in 2008 and who I think is rather fabulous. Louise’s latest bridal collection for 2013 will be launched at an exclusive event at Brighton’s Funfair Club this Thursday – and no, I still haven’t picked out a suitably fashionable outfit for the occasion! Psst… If you want to be first to see the collection, email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the guestlist as the night is exclusively invite only.
All the Oh my Honey Wedding dresses are made to order, with the 1950’s shapes in particular it is vital to get the perfect fit. And with prices ranging from £250 – £1600 that’s pretty remarkable. I’m thrilled that as reveal four, I get to share the Hannah Oh My Honey bridal design with you as it’s one of my favourites. A sweet treat of blush pink silk chiffon and crepe satin with a delicate lace and bead motif on the fitted bodice.
Dying to see more, head to So You’re Getting Married – http://soyouregettingmarried.com/ tomorrow for the exclusive reveal of two more bridal designs from the Oh My Honey collection. Don’t forget this week will culminate in a grand unveil of the entire 2013 collection shoot on Friday at 10am, eek!
