Friday August 1 2014.

I first came across the fantastical Fumbalinas working on an E.E. Cummings inspired styled shoot with Babb Photo.  Jodie rocked up with a case full of creations and you could just tell Fumbalinas was destined for big things.  And by big things, I’m talking commissioned pieces for Vogue, FEMME, Harpers Bazaar and a wealth of fashion mags.  Today I want to share the new Fumbalinas bridal collection with you Bijou girls who might be looking for something a little bold and fashion forward.

Jodie describes her label as “Rooted in the fantastical and the flamboyant.  A Fumbalinas garment always consists of an elegant edge and a touch of the surreal.”

Blue & Cream Hydrangea Crown

This is a one woman show with all pieces made by Jodie’s own hand in London, often recycling and re-using vintage curiosities.  Her creativity is vast and the bridal collection of couture headpieces and accessories highlights her range of influences from vintage Georgian wedding styles to today’s popular flower crown.
