At a recent Next Wedding launch that I was invited to attend, the famous high street brand set us bloggers a challenge… Can you dress the Wedding party with a budget of £500?  Bijou readers you know I love a challenge so I’m taking on the two most important people in the Wedding party, the Bride and Groom.  Here are fashion forward looks inspired by this winter’s trend for all things opulent, OD on gold, embroidery and sparkle.

The Bridal look centres around this gorgeous embroidered Lipsy dress, adding a golden touch with an oversized cuff and Dorothy worthy glitter courts.  Bring some bling to your bridal hairstyle by pinning in these tassel earrings.  A sparkly cover up for late evening celebrations is a must and don’t forget to choose lingerie in keeping with the Opulent look.  I even sneaked in a bouquet option from Next, aptly called the Opulence bouquet!

And for the Groom a twist on the classic Tuxedo keeping it all black with black shirt and plush velvet bow tie.  Add a pop of gold with this pocket square and the tassel shoes are just screaming ‘dance in me’!
