Jennifer Lawrence stunned the crowds with her new short locks at the Catching Fire premiere this week.  It’s so annoying how some people can just carry off any hairstyle!  Whether you have a cropped hair or not, you can still follow today’s Get the Look – Jennifer Lawrence tutorial and be ready for the weekend.

Listen up Brides with short cropped hair, I know it can be a struggle to find style inspiration but I’ve found 3 looks for you!  With the help of this short video by celeb hairdresser Paul Mitchell you can master an Edie Sedgwick slicked style, a 20’s wave or rockabilly quiff all in the comfort of your own home. Genius.

And here’s a quick guide to replicating Jennifer Lawrence’s red carpet style.

1.  To get some serious lift in those locks you’re going to need a big barrel brush, look for one with a metal aerated barrel that will heat up when used with a blow dryer to set your style.  Use a volumizing product to prep the hair and a set with a soft hairspray.  If you have long hair you can still follow the above but secure in a high ponytail.

2.  Once you’ve created your base with foundation, warm a little creme blush on the back of your hand and dab onto the apples of the cheeks.   Jennifer’s sporting a girly baby pink (this winter’s go to colour) and the Taffeta shade of Luminous Creme Blush by Youngblood is the best match I can find.

3.  Dust eyelids (up to the bottom of the brow bone) with another winter must, a light silver sparkling eyeshadow.  Line the outer upper and lower lids with a soft kohl pencil and apply mascara.  These special edition Benefit products are sure to wow in any beauty bag.

4.  Finally the kissable lips and Jennifer needs those for all the hotties she gets to tie tongues with on screen!  It’s baby pink again but not icky 80’s style, the key to staying fresh is flat yet glossy.  The Clarins Joli Rouge range is perfect for that.
