The Bijou team went home very inspired after enjoying a fun-filled evening of flower crafting, G&T’s and some of Etsy’s freshest wedding suppliers. We attended the Etsy Wedding Fair to scout out talented individuals with new ideas and innovative designs to share with you Bijou Brides. And we definitely found that!  The room was FULL of beautifully designed stationery, cake toppers, wedding dresses, shoes, jewellery & much more. Each and every one of the products had been handcrafted and we got talking to a few of the designers behind them…

So here it is, a collection of our favourite finds for those that couldn’t make it to the Etsy Wedding Fair:

Miss Sarah Cake – Sarah who started out as a cake makers is now designing unusual and fun cake toppers. She crafts the designs from her house near the sea then laser cuts them out of plastic- creating an innovative cake decoration. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines & blogs around the world

alternative cake topper Sepia Smiles – Rosey Willis, creator of Sepia Smiles stationery, has been a long term love of ours.  And we loved her new arrow pieces.

Hetty RoseHetty hand makes each pair of bespoke bridal shoes in her studio by the River Thames in London. You are welcome to make an appointment to pop in and see where the shoes are made & order your very own pair.

Kate Temple – Kate makes stylish bespoke ties, cufflinks & pocket squares. Her materials are sources from British manufactors & her packaging made from recycled, unbleached cards- * a personal side note* I LOVED Kate’s ties, if I was daring enough to fashion mens clothing I would definetly be seen out and about with a liberty print tie!

Debbie Carlisle– Debbie’s wedding accessories include spectacular everlasting brooch bouquets, striking bridal hair accessories and stunning vintage-inspired wedding earrings. A beautiful selection of bridal sashes, cuffs and garters which will finish off any bridal look!
