The sun is shining, my nails are painted with Caribbean Coral polish, it is time to great tropical! Today I want to share the latest collection from bridal designer Elizabeth Stuart set against a tropical backdrop that is making me want to pick up the phone and book a flight to paradise. With the tagline ‘Pearls of Pure Perfection in Design‘ the Elizabeth Stuart White Label collection is a jewel waiting to be discovered. More grown up than Elizabeth’s other collections, which feature playful peplums and big ruffled skirts, these Wedding dresses are strictly for Brides in search of classic luxury and timeless elegance.
All the dresses in the Collection include a touch of luxurious Alencon French lace, one of the finest and most delicate laces. The Nina Wedding dress below features an entire lace bodice.
Whereas the Juliet dress below (one of my favourites) features lace as a shoulder embellishment. This is the only Wedding dress in the Elizabeth Stuart White Label Collection that isn’t fitted. I love the simple bohemian look of the free falling silk.
It is clear from the cuts of the rest of the dresses in the Collection that they are intended to show off the female form in all its glory. Bias cut silks and form fitting lace only emphasis the effect. Don’t you think the train on the Avril dress has a stunning liquid like quality?
After viewing the above I’m sure it is clear to you that the Collection has been influenced by vintage evening dress styles. The Odette dress below has a bit of a 1940’s flavour.
