I say it every time but Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week always blows me away.  In a change to usual Bijou proceedings instead of sharing my fall 2012 fashion trend predictions, I’m going to focus on the insanely beautiful couture Wedding dresses and Bridal worthy looks because let’s face it that is the best bit!

The masters of ethereal style Elie Saab struck gold again with this fine lace and gold embroidered couture Wedding dress.

You have to hand it to Jean Paul Gaultier he always manages to present something unexpected.

Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Fall 2012

Are you wondering what’s unexpected about this… the Wedding jacket is styled back to front, do you dig it?

The famous Christian Dior ‘New Look’ took a sleek, minimalist turn under the guidance of its new Creative Director Raf Simmons.  Fashion forward Brides will appreciate that a bold choice in Wedding dress shape sits best with nothing but a bold lip and slicked back hair.  Psst… calf length skirts are set to be a future trend in Bridal wear.

Karl Lagerfield created a couture Snow Queen with this wintery white feather Wedding ensemble for Chanel’s Fall 2012 collection.  The exaggerated collar and full length design is such a high drama look for Winter brides looking for some serious wow factor.

After a 10 year break Donatella Versace was back presenting Atelier Versace on the runway and it was glamour all the way.  Ultra light weight, high shine skirts were key Bridal worthy material as the models floated like glamourous ghosts down the runway.
