Bijou brides let me introduce you to “the purveyors of all things gorgeously floaty and silky” (according to Grazia Magazine) Belle & Bunty. The cult label loved by everyone from Fearne Cotton to Lindsay Lohan, Belle & Bunty have recently branched out into Bridal wear and I know you’re going to like what you see. The Belle & Bunty collection even includes the Alice and Hannah’s own wedding dress designs, called what else but The Belle and The Bunty.
The bridal collection is a natural progression for designers Alice Shreeve and Hannah Coniam-Thompson who met at the London College of Fashion and established their brand which celebrates the feminine shape with elegant designs in 2003.
A Bijou edit of my favourites from the Belle & Bunty Bridal collection are below.
The Lace Willow
The tailored bodice, pointed details and waist sash on this gown will cut a very feminine silhouette. Plus the lace key hole back is a beautiful feature for romantically styled brides.
A perfect destination wedding dress with its cut-out back and fluid silk crepe fabric to keep you cool. The ruffle details around the arm add a contemporary edge.
Interesting twisted rope neckline and long train make this vintage feel gown less traditional.
Modest yet contemporary at the front with understated lines yet with a sexy scooped back, the Petal wedding dress is sure to wow.
My Bijou style board for Belle & Bunty wearing brides. I’ve used the silk rosette details to inspire the accessory shapes and rose red accent colour.
