Luxury Bridal design house Annasul Y describe their bride’s “as not afraid of expressing herself in the most vivid way. She has a confident sense of style that does not waver in the fad of trend. She is delightful, adventurous and full of life.” And their 2012 collection does not waver from this moto with bold details, antique accents and elaborate embellishments.
The Bijou edit of my favourite bridal gowns is below, these are Wedding dresses that evoke a feeling of “vintage demureness with modern sensuality.“
Stunning skirt here, I adore the fine tulle and lace overskirt which would look so dramatic as you walk down the aisle.
The complete package here, tulle train, lace panelling, oversized corsage and appliques. Wow.
High necks for high drama.
And here’s my style file for an Annasul Y wearing Harlequin inspired Rock & Roll Bride – that’s a mouthful. As always you can find inspiration anyway and although Harlequin may seem a strange choice, the bold diamond shapes and rich red, black and white colour scheme will stand the test of time.
