Hello my Bijou darlings I trust you all had a magnificent Christmas, before we step into 2012 I wanted to take a moment to look back at the first year of The Bijou Bride’s blog.  What a thrill it has been and thanks to you I’ll be back ready to face the New Year with vigour.  So here’s to 2011 a Bijou year.

BEST BIJOU BRIDES
I have had the honour of sharing the wedding style of real Bijou bride’s who of course are all beautiful but I have a few personal favourites from the year:
Christina
A lot of us are inspired by vintage styles but Christina carried it off perfectly with her authentic interpretation.

Jessica
I just adore Jessica’s eccentricity.  One seriously bold bride that really inspired me and hopefully you too.

Kati
This bride rocked a laidback look that the rest of us have to try so hard to achieve, love wrapped in envy!

Kana
How could I not include bride Kana’s sparkle infused wedding style, you know I adore all things that glitter.  A true dazzler.

GREAT GUIDES
I have been blessed in meeting the most incredible creatives this year and some have been kind enough to share their top tips with you dear readers.  If you are planning your big day I implore you to pour yourself a cup of tea and read these:

2011 STYLE ICON
As the Harry Potter saga drew to a close this year there is no denying that Emma Watson firmly cemented her place in the fashion pack.  Her fearless British style made her your number one and for me, my favourite look of the year was this A.Mazing Valentino dress she rocked at the BAFTA’s.
